What You Need to Know Before Hitting the Water.
CLASS POLICY
1. Weekly Schedule & Public Holidays

Lessons are conducted every week.

If the primary coach is unavailable, a replacement coach will conduct the lesson.

There will be no lessons on Public Holidays and no charges will apply.
2. Refunds & Transfer

Package and any unused lessons are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
3. Inclement Weather Policy

The coach reserves the right to cancel a lesson at any time due to unsafe weather conditions.
4. Withdrawal & Termination
-
Please submit a withdrawal request to the school at least 30 days before the desired end date via email.

Any unused lesson will not be refunded.
5. Little Orcas Swimming Cap
-
All students are required to wear the official Little Orcas swimming cap during lessons.

A replacement fee of $10 will apply for any lost or damaged caps
POLICY AMENDMENTS

The school reserves the right to amend the policies at any time.

The school will make reasonable efforts to notify all enrolled participants of any significant changes by posting the updated policies on our website and/or via email.

Continued enrolment in the lessons following the posting of revised policies constitutes the acceptance of the revised terms.
PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY

By enrolling in our swim school, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data, including your child's personal data, for the purposes of providing and improving our services. This may include contact information, medical information relevant to swim safety, and images or videos captured during lessons.

Continued participation in the swim school following the communication of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

ADDITONAL NOTES
1. Media Release
By registering your child for lessons at Little Orcas, you grant us permission to use photographs and/or video recordings of your child for promotional purposes, including our website, social media channels and printed materials. If you do not consent to media use, please notify us via email prior to the start of classes.
2. Release of Liability

Assumption of Risk: By enrolling in Little Orcas, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with swimming activities, including but not limited to the risk of drowning, injuries from slips and falls, and other accidents.

Release of Claims: You agree to release, waive and discharge Little Orcas, its owners, instructors, employees and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage or injury, including death, that may be sustained by you or your child while participating in swim school activities or while on the premises, whether caused by the negligence of the swim school or otherwise.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Little Orcas, its owners, employees and agents from any and all costs, expenses, damages and liabilities.
